Okay, so I'm not sure how well this fits into the plot, buuuut....
Maybe to get some action on the site, we should have Miraz throw some kind of shindig? I could see it being like some kind of example ("We're totally winning, so lets partay!"), and it would give some of the Telmarines an excuse to interact. Maybe something to the tune of a festival or tournament (jousting or something equally macho XD).
Just an idea. Opinions?

Hmm.
It might have some potential; I suspect it would have to be after the first or second fight so they have reason to think they were ahead. It could be an attempt to raise moral among the Telmarine soldiers. It could also be the reason that Miraz and the others were at the castle, IF we choose to follow the movie and do the castle raid scene.

This is also true. Though, the main point I think would be to get more interaction between the Telmarine characters, since so far it seems like it's just been Miraz verbally abusing people XD That, and it would give Miraz a chance to harass/intimidate some of his other followers (and remind them who's boss >.>)

Lol I see your point. xD However, I suspect Miraz does little without a solid reason -- mainly, a reason to further his own endeavours. Whether his true reason and the reason he gives are the same, though, that's not necessarily how it'll happen.
Anyway, I'm curious to see what Melissa (who plays Miraz xD) will think of the idea.

bah. this made way more sense in my head XD but yeah, we should def. run it by Melissa. Methinks it would make a good thread to get some more plottage going between the Telmarines, and give Miraz a chance to bully some of his subordinates around XD

Hey, all. Melissa, here. I think that Miraz wouldn't celebrate a war with a festival. It would likely be sort of counter-productive, to put energy and men to some use other than the war that they're doing well in. I think it would also look boast-y. Which in ways Miraz is all for. The war, however. . . I think Miraz is bound to be surprised at the strength of Caspian's men, so while he might be inclined to "cover things up" with a display, I don' think he'd celebrate the war. His son's Christening (or Telmarine equivalent, however). . . That I think is just grounds for celebration. Spectacle to reinforce not the war, which Miraz is wanting to distract from, but the power and strength of his family and his new dynasty.  He'd be all for that. Good idea. Also, Miraz has been heckling people, but with very very good reasons. You'll see. |
