Alright, let's avoid fighting among ourselves. Save those irritations for the battlefield.

I do believe I was well within my rights, making unfounded accusations! And I could have very well hit him with something else if some feathered maiden hadn't snatched away my bow!

((Adimon gave this letter to Sephen de la Braose, who was supposed to pass it on to King Miraz.  The letter, however, never made it to its intended recipient.))

Your Majesty, King Miraz,

I am mortified to admit that I do not know how to begin this letter.  I have somehow managed to contract a form of amnesia, which has left me with no real knowledge of my own identity. The facts I now possess about myself have all been gleaned from others, and until recently, I have been a prisoner with the so-called Old Narnian army.  Therefore, I do not know the nature of our relationship, or what it is Your Majesty would have me say.  Pray have patience with me, and forgive any lapses or blunders on my part.

I escaped from the Narnians yesterday, and happened to meet Lord Sephen de la Braose. I thought it best to accept his invitation to recover in his home, for I would have found it hard to find you on my own, and I am afraid I can be of little use to you at present. He has kindly agreed to have this message delivered to you, and so I will remain here until recovered, or until I receive instructions to the contrary from Your Majesty.

As I have spent at least a couple of weeks in the company of the Old Narnian army, I thought I should report what I have learned.  I was always under guard, and through most of my captivity I was in poor health. Further, even my memory of what has transpired since my injury is not always clear. Still, I might perhaps know something useful to you, and so I feel it is my duty to make my report.

Caspian’s army has suffered greatly as a result of a recent storm. Sickness abounds; Caspian himself has fallen quite ill.  The camp has also suffered much damage, and it will be awhile before they are able to repair or replace all that is lost.  Even had the storm not taken place, I feel Your Majesty’s army would have no difficult time attaining victory. Caspian’s leadership is precarious, and his followers are disorganized, undisciplined, and untrained.  They do have some very unnatural advantages, but I feel our human intellect should prevail against the brute strength of the monsters Caspian commands.  To my regret, I was unable to determine the numbers of the enemy’s army, as I was unable to roam freely in the camp. If there is any other information that is possible for me to supply, however, I will gladly provide it upon request.

I apologize if I have been derelict in any duties as a result of the condition in which I find myself. Once I recover, I will attempt to make amends in any way in my power.

Your Majesty's humble and obedient servant,

Sir Adimon Tescar
