[Prince Caspian]

Because we?ve got a fair amount of members on the army already but with virtually nowhere to post if one wants to follow some semblance of a plot at present, I suggest following some sort of plot until Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy show up. Because, as we know, once they?re all up and role playing they still have a good amount of stuff to role play through before finally getting to Aslan?s How. Here is my suggested mini-plot outline ? please give feedback; I will be starting it up soon. ***

(Note about the mini-plot)

Plot While Awaiting the Pevensies

• A harsh storm hits the camp, affecting both the Old Narnians and the Telmarines.  (though, seeing as we?ve only got one Telmarine at the moment, their side won?t really be role played out at present)
• The storm, while it doesn?t last too long (2-3 days, tops), causes a good deal of damage to both camps. This damage isn?t too serious, and can be repaired, but it takes some time. Luckily, time seems to be all they have for the fighting cannot continue until the sun dries out all the mud. The forest located between the two camps is a river of mud and slippery grass, making passage dangerous, if not impossible.
• Because of exposure to the rain, members of Caspian?s camp begin to get ill. At first it?s nothing more than coughs and sniffles, though some begin to fall far more ill than others. Some are sent to guard the borders of the camp though anyone who has any knowledge of nursing the sick.
• Caspian?s stress only increases and, because he?s either hiding himself away in his soggy tent or doing his best to assist the ill, he too gets sick.
• There is fear for the Prince?s life (anyone else who wishes to be close to death, message me and I?ll add you! Lol. Oh! But there shall be no actual dying.) and many come forth with remedies they hope will heal him.
• The ground begins to dry up and with it, slowly, the Caspian begins to improve though he?s still weak and can eat little. The camp is fixed up, things go back to normal. The fighting starts up again. Caspian gets well.
• Hopefully around this time, the Pevensies will be just about ready to join us.

Thoughts? Any other events we can throw in there? I?d like for this to take 1-3 weeks, depending on how far along the Pevensies are.

I know none of this is from the books, but the books don?t talk too much about what happened in Caspian?s army before the arrival of help. Well, they don?t talk too much about what happened after the horn was blown anyway, and that?s already happened. So we?ve got to make it up. This should prove interesting.

So how this is going to go is as follows:

• I?m going to start an opening post after a couple people have commented on this mini-plot.
• There will be a different thread for every official point in the plot.
• The thread will be closed after that part of the mini-plot has finished. (I will give warning when the post is about to be closed so you can wrap up whatever your character is doing/thinking/saying, etc.)
• The first point will be the brewing of, and the storm itself.

*Please Note: You can have and be involved in other threads while the plot is going. But please keep the events of your other thread in line with what is happening with the mini-plot. Please also try and keep it at the same pace as well.

It sounds good to me, this really does seem quite interesting.
Actually, two possible events do come up, one more likely than the other based on the timeframe and all.

1) Perhaps a drought afterwards while everyone is getting sick? (Well almost everyone I believe)
2) Lightning from the storm starts a fire that wrecks havoc upon the Telmarines

Well my character, who isn't accepted yet, but hopefully will be soon, is a healer.... So, I suppose that could come in handy? I'm not sure where you are exactly in the plot, but my character will sort of weasel her way into it, I think.

So yeah, if it comes to the point that healing is needed, she'll come out. Another thing; she hasn't actually appeared to the other Narnians, because she is a shy Dryad, but she's been watching them, and if she sees Prince Caspian is dying, she'll definitely want to rescue him.

And that, my friends, was a very long run-on sentence. Don't do it. ;]

Haha, I made her sound a little mean, didn't I? No, she'll definitely save anyone who's in need of it. But it probably needs to get bad enough that she comes out of hiding, being as she hasn't shown herself for literally hundreds of years. O.o

It's not that it's mean I'm just curious---how would she even know of Caspian if she hasn't spoke to ANY Narnians... I mean ya Caspian being sick would be dramatic and 'AHHHH' but I'm sure all the Narnians won't toss their hands in the air and wail for a savior. hehehe. Like Caspian said, there are healers ....So she could end up being in hiding forever if that's the only thing that'll bring her out..

EDIT: COUGH...color me embarrassed. Just read your application and I understand how the character might have known of him then

No, you made a very valid point! :] I should have thought this through a little more... And yes, I realize the Narnians won't be wailing for a savior (besides, she's pretty far from a savior in the first place ;]). I think just seeing all the sick Narnians and knowing she could help will bring Myrrine out. She doesn't have to save Prince Caspian, or anyone for that matter-- but she will come out eventually, because... Well, obviously I want to RP her. Hehe.

And really, after seeing all those Narnians she won't be able to help herself-- she misses them too much. :]

You know..Reina's from the Shuddering Wood..well her stream is anyways....which is technically across from the Dancing Lawn area (right? that's where she's from, isn't it? I apologize if I read incorrectly). :O that could be an easy outlet. granted....Reina's a Naiad...and Myrrine is a Dryad...

Yeah, I was thinking about that! I have a feeling they would be attracted to each other, because there aren't many Naiads or Dryads showing themselves these days... They'll definitely need to meet. :]

And yeah, she's from the Dancing Lawn area...ish. I'm not sure if I actually specified that in my post...

Well we can work something out with that whole thing. They'd have alot in common what with streams Reina knows drying up and trees dying for Myrrine

Damien is joining the army during this plot. Also, being 110 years old, he knows a few tricks about healing, even though it's definately not his specialty. He also has the ability to fetch rare and far-off growing plants that may be needed. (Perhaps there could be a dramatic race-against-time while Damien rushes to get a certain plant that can heal everyone, including the near-death Caspian!)
