So far, we have King Miraz and two other Telmarines.  And then of course, there's Aeryn.  We could still use more characters on this side, but I think we can finally start plotting!

In the beginning, the main thing to deal with is the storm mentioned in the Old Narnian Plot Discussion. The Old Narnians and Telmarines have already had some scuffles, but this puts that all on hold.  After the storm, the Old Narnians get sick. So we'll have to come up with something to occupy ourselves with during that time.  Anyway, when the Old Narnians get better, the fighting will start up again, and hopefully the Pevensies will be just about to arrive at Aslan's Howe.

As you can see, what I've outlined so far is not very specific. We have plenty of room to be creative! So this is just a thread for brainstorming about the general Telmarine plotline.  (Discussion about specific threads, as always, should go into the OOC RP Discussion forum.)

Now that I'm settled I decided to pop in and give my two cents! Yay for loose idea change. Anyway, I was thinking about the whole Narnian sick thing. Since the Telmarians are probably better suited to handle the storm, maybe they start trying to bargain medicines and shelter and stuff. Trying to, you know, make the Old Narnian's surrender.

I just thought somthing like that might spice things up but now that I read it over it sounds lame. But hopefully somthing will come of it. i'm itching to start RPing Miraz. ^.^

Yeah, I was thinking the storm wouldn't hurt the Telmarines as much.  The bargaining thing could work, but it would have to be done in some sort of sinister style.  We should come up with some reason why they don't decide to attack the weakened army, though, since even if we do decide on the bargaining thing, Caspian's sure to reject it.

Yeah, I was itching to start RPing as well. Lucy couldn't RP since we didn't have all the Pevensies yet. So I had Adimon get captured so he could RP with more people than just Darrin (our only other Telmarine at the time) but not have to keep fighting all the time. Only that means that Miraz has one less Telmarine to RP with right now, since Miraz can't exactly get captured. And I still can't think of a good way for Miraz to get messages in to Adimon. (And first, of course, he has to find out that Adimon's been captured, since Adimon was alone at the time and there were no witnesses.)

Hm... someone should create a Telmarine spy, who pretends to be a part of the Narnian army. Though that would have to be one exceptional Telmarine, since Telmarines, in general, don't like magical creatures!

Well I'm open to volunteer my telmarine, Darrin, for anything! As he really needs to get rping. I haven't posted with him at all yet I don't think! lol.

Umm... yes this would definitely be a good thing to decide.

Of course! Aeyrn! Since he's going to the Telmarine's anyway Miraz could be all like:

"Go to Caspian's army!"

That might get things moving. And as for the bargaining thing, maybe Aeyrn could convince him to do it, since he doesnt't seem like a meany kid in general. Or they could do it to try and get Adimon back but since he's lost his memory and they don't know....

Well, we could build from there.

I forgot about Aeryn! That would SO work! And as Lani said, it opens up lots of possibilities! And it's definitely a way for them to find out what happened to Adimon.

I offer up my lovely Tobias. He's a very wary Telmarian supporter, in fact if he got the chance he'd probably run for the Old Narnia camp. But he is a Telmarian so if I can be of use, I am here!

And as for Elba, since she and Aeryn are related I see some cool plot ideas. Maybe Elba tries to persuade Aeryn or he tries to persuade her. With Elba nursing Adimon, she'd be a prime person to get info out of him too.

Anyways, once Darrin and Aeryn (hey, they rhyme! schweet!) make their way to Miraz' camp, I'll have Aeryn meet with Miraz or something. And then, well, wait? After he meets with Miraz, how could he just simply 'wander' into the Old Narnian's camp.

Hmm, I'll have to think on that.

The original idea I had was for Aeryn to become separated from Darrin (whoa, rhyming again) and then accidently wander into the Narnian's camp instead. Once there, he'd essentially be like a prisoner once he revealed his true intentions. Then he'd had to work his way into believing that Caspian was in the right over Miraz, and ride out to convince his father and the Archenland army to fight against Miraz.

Not sure how Aeryn would simply wander in this way, though. Or...wow, typing out the post really helps. Ok, Aeryn could just ride in as if he had the message for Caspian instead of Miraz. That could work.

I have an idea about how Aeryn gets to the other camp. You guys can RP their journey and they can get to the Army's camp. Aeryn can talk to Miraz and that can start his whole turn around since Miraz isn't that nice of a guy. Then maybe lightning from the storm strikes and the camp in in chaos and in the confusion somehow Aeryn gets lost.

Then maybe he stumbles into camp, is captured etc. etc.

I am still working on my character application. But she is going to be a Telmarine Ranger. And I will volunteer her  for anything you guys might need plot-wise. She can be kinda cocky and rude. But other than that she is going to be a good soldier and tracker...

I also have a female Telmarine (Michala Harran) who's going to be at the camp. And my male Telmarine (Darrin Basilar) will get there as soon as he's done taking Aeryn to Miraz (or getting him lost lol)

Despite the fact that Meagan is neutral, she's really more pro-Telmarine than anything else. She's fascinated by Narnians, but she thinks they killed her brother, and she's unaware of the fact that she's part Narnian. So... she can be used as a Telmarine healer (even though she's still working at getting 'good' at it) and she's just one big Narnian encyclopedia. Use her for whatever you'd like.

Okay, the Telmarine thread seems to be completely dead. I really, really wanna RP Thal though! Any Telmarine soldiers available for some RPing?

Yeah... therein lies the problem. There really aren't many Telmarine soldiers. We could maybe work something out though. :]

Well, I'm thinking about just having Adimon escape (or at least try) after a post or two, so there'll be another Telmarine soldier. And then eventually, I'll create an Old Narnian, so I can still rp with Caspian et al as well.

Drinian's a lord, so while not a "soldier," he would be commanding men. He also would fight. There's the other possibility that he could also serve as something of a spy for Miraz--or at least be solicited for it. Not for the reason that he's unknown to Caspian, but rather that he's very close to him and so it may even be believable that he's deserted the Telmarines to go to the Narnian side. Drinian himself is half of a mind to believe he would do something like that. Anyhow, I'll start up a new thread and we'll see where it takes us, hmn?

Ok, I think I'm going to have Adimon join Drinian this weekend, once I figure out for sure what I want to do with his memory.  I'm still not done with his thread in the Narnian camp, but since I'll already know the general outcome of that thread, I can just play in the two threads at once.
