I apologize for the lack of an update last week. Hopefully you all survived and are still breathing, especially from yesterday's April Fool's Day prank.

We've lost a few people and gained some others, and I'm happy to report we now have a full compliment of Pevensies geared up and ready to go. The Pevensie plot thread should be starting within the next few days, so keep your eye out for it.
The Old Narnians plot thread has been progressing well, with the addition of some new color as well. And they should face some complications soon from the dark forces of Miraz.
That's right, Miraz is here now, and he and his cohorts should be making their appearances shortly. With an accepted Miraz, this now means that players should feel no restriction in making a character for either side without fearing any lack of roleplay support.
And away from the roleplay aspects, we now focus on other items of interest.
Our friend Lu, friendly admin, who was set to play Peter Pevensie, encountered a few issues in her life which mucked up her internet access and time. While Peter is now taken, Lu has expressed an interest in returning as another character when she finds her bearings again. I want to extend good luck to Lu and hope that she can find some good inspiration for her future character.
If any of you had previously registered for a second account for your expanding gallery of characters, you probably found that the forum didn't like using the same email. Well, no longer, accounts can now be registered with your email again, and again, and again. I've imposed an artificial limit on nine for now. If you feel the need to play nine characters, let's have a talk first.
In addition, from now on, the requirement for linking accounts will be a shared email between the two (or more). This is merely a security issue to prevent possible abuse from occurring, and someone else from trying to link to your account.
And, lastly, what you've probably been waiting for. I'm sorry to report that I have no further news on the skin, only that the person I've hired has been busy with their day job. I'm expecting an update from him in the next few days, so there may be some visible changes by then. No promises, however, so stay vigilant.
One final announcement. If any of you remember, during the first weekly update, I mentioned awards for the end of March. We will be having a Character of the Month award, which will have a poll up by tomorrow to decide on this. The vote will run until Saturday, so you have a few days to get your voice heard.
This time, the staff have decided it would be best to make the nominations in-house. In the future, we'll evaluate the success of this round and see if we can manage nominations from all players.
Anyways, recall the requirements for nomination, as stated in the first update:
The first is the Character of the Month award, granted to the person with the best character profile (bio, application, etc). This award can only be won once, and so you should feel some prestige when winning. More information to come soon, but as a sneak preview, profiles will not be judged only how they looked once approved. You're free to go back and spruce it up to be better and win that contest.
So when you see the nominees, take comfort that all aspects of these requirements have been considered.
That's all for now. See you next week!
