General Personality: Sprite is your typical owl of the forest, lazy and always comfortable in whatever position he?d be in. Generally he?d only move if he had to or was given an order, but when he?s hungry he?ll do whatever it takes to get his food. Usually from the branches, which he rests upon, he?d spend time thinking of the state of Narnia. He is a rather intellectual fellow, always thinking of how he could help and discussing issues with other owls. Of course they would often do this in hidden areas; they know what King Miraz would do to them if he knew they could talk. Sprite may be a lazy owl but when he needs to step up he does, often with wise counsel when it is needed most. He fully understands the situation that Narnia is in and often yerns to be of assistance, usually however, it would be when it seems convenient for him. Although there are many times he knows he'll have to step out of his little comfortable hole in the tree to get things done right.
Sprite is not only lazy; he?s also stubborn at many times. You see, he believes that his counsel is always the wisest. If he were to provide a suggestion to a fellow passer-by in need of assistance, he would value his assessment as more valuable than the passer-by or any other creature that is not of the owl family. If someone were to suggest something to Sprite it would only be in vain, he likes to think of himself as the know it all. And if that wasn?t enough, he is also quite the pessimist when he?s upset about something, anything really. Have him in a bad mood and ask him of Narnia's future and he'll tell you he sees no future for Narnia, but ask him when he is quite satisfied and he'll give you an inspirational answer that would fill the heart of any Narnian.
Analyzing him furthermore, one could see his good attributes, such as always being thoughtful of others. He will always consider other people before himself. Of course this doesn?t apply to food though as he?d rather fill himself than offer anything to anyone. His keen senses often serve him well for scouting, especially at night. This is what sparked his one great desire to help the Old Narnians, go out and scout. It was a way to get attention and praise, a real show off you could say. He also likes to show off his speed, he is quite fast in comparison to average eagle owls and feistier too if one were to mess with him. A word of advice, don't bug him when he's hungry, you wouldn't like him when he's hungry. But bring around food so as to please him and he'll grow to be dependent on the food you bring instead of you, so food can be deemed as a valuable tool to use for and against this owl.

General History: Sprite is a young eagle owl from the woods of Narnia. He was raised by his mother and father until he was old enough to fly. The very day that he left his mother?s nest, he went to meet with the parliament of owls. There he would grow in wisdom and improve his intellectual capabilities while discussing and analyzing issues of the land. They did all this in secret as King Miraz bitterly despised all talking creatures, knowing this they spied consistently upon the land and the Telmarines? operations. They are never caught as they would never speak in public, in fear that Miraz would have them done away with. Sprite, as a young owl, was raised to be an independent owl and politician for Narnia. He was often inspired by the older owls, also known as elders, who held much knowledge and spoke often of may tales involving Aslan, the one name that brought a joyful spirit into his veins.
Now that word got out that Caspian had his camp by Aslan?s How, he decided to hold himself accountable in providing whatever assistance he could. Leaving the parliament of owls was difficult but was encouraged by them as they wished to deliver their salutations to the young Prince. From sun to rain, even storm, he?d venture through the woods collecting what knowledge he could to report to Caspian once he were to arrive. Looking at his roots, one would see he came from a respectable and honorable family, always known for their honesty and integrity. He was looked up to and became a role-model for many of the younger owls, despite of some of his negative attributes. The owls were like family and when one departed many mourned and hoped that one day that owl would return, this situation was quite worrisome for many as they believed he would not return while fighting for Narnia and Prince Caspian.
He often would be considered as the youngest owl to be held in such high respect in the parliament. Being an eagle owl he?s known for his valiant efforts in taking risks, although at times he can be rather nervous of what the other owls may think of him as. Despite of his immense size and intimidating stare he is still regarded as one of the most thoughtful and kind owl in the parliament. Of course this only applies to owls, any other creature and he would not dare show how thoughtful and kind he was. Mostly because he feared that others would see him as a weak individual, contrasting his threatening appearance. It was like having two faces, his true face shown to the owls, his other towards the outsiders of the group. But those who he held close friendships with who were not owls he did show his true self, willing to be as open as he could be with them.
Other/Notes: He?s a nocturnal creature known for his night vision and excellent hearing.
SampleRP Sample: His eyes surveyed the dark, night seeming like day for him. He could see a rat not far from his right, a rabbit not far from his left, and a frog in the far distance near the river. It was another typical night for him, possible prey here or there to serve as a good midnight snack.
Not far from Caspian?s camp he was, resting his wings after a long flight. He was spying on the Telmarines, many of there tactics being quite odd and unreasonable. They were over exaggerating in the amount of troops they needed and he knew this would serve well for Caspian. Its all about tactics and strategies, Sprite knew much about them and how to counter certain moves made by the opposition. It was a game the young owls used to play; his father taught him much about it.
A group of young owls would analyze the older owls when they argue and learn from it. Those who learnt the most and had the best points to counter the argument were deemed as the victor.
The snapping of a twig to his right caught his attention, Telmarines. He watched closely as they passed by quickly, not knowing what they were up to. In full curiosity he sprang from his branch and flapped his wings loudly, taking flight after diving a few feet. Quick swift movements of his wings held him high and moving fast through the trees, following the Telmarines on whatever expedition they were set on. The wind was cold as he diced through the air, twisting and turning to avoid the branches and leaves that would cause him to crash. He had crashed before by no doubt, it was back when he raced his friend 'Olivius' the barn owl, he had rushed into the deep woods and flew into a tree. That would be the last time he would race in a very obstructed area, this time he was being careful and taking his time though so no tree bashing this time.
"Why must it be so cold? It feels like much rain and storm may come..." This he whispered to himself three times as to complain and not keep it barred in within himself. The clouds were covering the sky as the darkness of night got darker. He could see perfectly with his nocturnal eyes, it was a great help to him. Especially with the lighted torch that the Telmarines held while they ran through the woods, he was afraid that if they were not careful they may end up starting a forest fire. That he would not like at all, it would be great speed to escape what ever harm the fire may bring, he would have none of it.
