"Cara has managed to...create a character that is both mythical and life-like. Impulsive, moody, and yet kind and good-hearted, Caspian is just beginning to show the makings of a true leader."

Alright, let's avoid fighting among ourselves. Save those irritations for the battlefield.

Okay, first, I warn you! I ramble, even when typing, so if this seems to drag on forever, it's because it probably does. *cue The Neverending Story theme now*

O_o

So, my name is Liz. I'm 18 and I play Lady Arina Penley Carison who is trying her darnest to convince everyone that her name is 'Choni' and making "great friends" as she does so. I will also be playing a Captain by the name of Sir Othello Chavar Durn in the Telemarine army if I can ever find the inspiration and time to finish his character sheet. :-/

I live in the middle of nowhere. Usually, when forums ask for 'location' I type in "East of the Sun, West of the Moon." It's one of my two favorite parts from a book I read for English called 'Auto Repair.' My other favorite part was "Don't squash the poodle, honey."

Hmm... I'm a member of three other roleplays -one for Harry Potter, one for a show I've never heard of called Higher Ground, and one based on Norse and Scandinavian mythology. I also run one for Star Wars, which isn't doing so good right now. :-( All of them but the Harry Potter one are a lot like this one- post when you can. The Higher Ground one requires longer posts like this site, but that's not a problem. Most recently, though, the Harry Potter one went from post whatever to 'you better be posting a helluva lot or we're going to ban you!' and they RP in real time for the most part, so that's a lot of pressure!!! O_O

I don't usually play a lot of girl characters because I tend to make them very... bratty. *trying so hard not to use bad words...* I mean, no girl I've ever played has ever been quite as bad as Arina, but still. My girls tend to be the 'never back down when someone gets in your face even if it could be life threatening' kind. This mostly happened because on older roleplays, my girls tended to be the weak, cliche type that needed saving every two seconds and couldn't fend for themselves. Actually, when I started roleplaying again about two years ago, I started out with a guy because when helping my friend Jill write her story, I always, ALWAYS played the guy. Even though my screen name on the site was 'silvermoonfairy,' everyone thought that... I really was a guy...

... Moving on...

Okay, so you probably think I'm a complete freakazoid for being in so many RPs. I admit, I'm a bit of an adict, but I swear, I have a plausible reason!!! I want to be a writer. Role playing helps me become a better writer.

I started posting a Harry Potter fan fiction story on Quizilla (which I recently found in a notebook, and it sucked :-/) and met my best friend online, Jill, who was also writing a HPFF there. She told me about HarryPotterFanFiction.com. We became co-authors to eachother's stories and to date, I believe I have seven posted, five completed and two WIPs. Then, HPFF.com started a sister site for original fiction and I was so excited! I had so many ideas! What made it more awesome is that a lot of people like my ideas.

Last November, I participated in National Novel Writing Month or NaNoWriMo and I actually did it. 50,000+ words in 30 days. Well, actually, less than 30. I am currently working on editing it and messing with my plot and storyline because I would very much like to get it published. I have to get crackin', though. The story is about the end of the world- in the year 2012! :-/

I also write poetry and song lyrics, but not often.

Uh... Oh! Art! I love art, especially concerning Anime. I'm an artist myself and if I can ever become a manga-ka, I will be so effing ecstatic, you can't even imagine. I mostly do drawings. I'm not so good with paints right now. When I do color, it's usually with colored pencils or water color pencils (soooo much easier to use than normal water colors!). I have my own little gallery on TokyoPop.com and on the Harry Potter roleplay.

I love to read! I have a whole list of books that I absolutely could not live without! Winter of Fire by Sherryl Jordan is by far the best book I own. I checked it out of the school library at LEAST 30 times between 5th and 8th grade. My librarian actually gave it to me the last day of school. That's followed by Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis and then Eclipse by Stephanie Meyer (love the Twilight series!) and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by J.K. Rowling. And that's just the snowflake on the tip of the iceberg. I often joke that I love to read anything and everything but textbooks.

I also have some pretty odd beliefs, too, I suppose. Like, I believe in God, but I don't go to church. I don't want to sit for an hour and listen to some guy tell me what he thinks the Bible means and bash other religions. Not. Cool. I also don't believe everything in the Bible. I think our rewritten history lessons in school prove that man cannot record history accurately. My least favorite verse is Exodus 22:18 "Thou shall not suffer a witch to live." God can't have put that in there. It had to be some superstisious crazy when King James had the Bible translated. (I also can't stand the King James version, he had it done so he could get a divorce!) God created everything in the world, including Magic, and it's up to we, the people who live here, to decide whether to use it for Good or Evil.

Uh, well, erm... This is what happens when I get going. I ramble, I rant, and usually spew more than people wanted to know in the first place. I do it when I meet people for the first time, too, mostly out of nervousness.

So, uh, yeah... Heh.

Oh! Oh! Oh! One last thing! My quote of the week came from a RP buddy called Mere. It was her AIM away message yesterday and it made me feel soo much better after having such a bad day!

--When life hands you lemons, throw them back and scream, "I want chocolate!"
---Stizzle--

Okay, so, uh, yeah... Heh.

I'll be honest. Skimmed through that because it might have made my head explode...

Smiley That said, congrats on finishing NaNo! Last year was my first try and somehow I survived, and succeeded! It's a great experience.

I promise to read through the rest of your life story post shortly.
