I though I'd introduce myself anyway.
My name is Melissa. I'm studying Brit Lit at graduate school in the US this year, and RPing has always been something of a refuge (read: procrastination tool) from studying. I'm looking forward to this RPG, as the Narnia RPG I was in, a PBEM on Yahoo!Groups ended up dying.
I've loved playing Lord Drinian and, if you can believe it, I've played him on and off for . . . 8 years? Wow. This dates me. Anyhow, I like the development and appreciation for detail that board RPGs allow for. It seems that you can add so many different tools for development and communication this way. But I do warn you: I've not been in many of these.
As for some insight as to who I am, I'm a mix of fantasy nerd, fashionista, would-be intellectual (wishful), and chocolate enthusiast. I love travel and living abroad and have lived in Jerusalem and Mexico and England. The rest of the time, I'm in the United States, where I believe most of you live as well. Looking at the times that things are posted, though, I suspect we have a few time-zone variations or some serious night owls.

So . . . hi!
