Greetings, fellow Into-Narnians! For your roleplaying pleasure, I proffer Tarkheena Adelliana Tisroc, AKA Dharr. She is a rather spunky girl, recently escaped from her homeland Calormen. (Sit down with her sometime and she'll tell you the story of her escape. It'll be worth your while, given that most Calormenes are excellent at storytelling. XD ) Currently, she has recently met up with the Telmar forces, under the guise as a rather scraggly looking boy in an attempt to run away from her future. While normally a lovely little girl, she'd put up with too much tribulation at home, and therefore decided to join the war. So, it might be nice for her to have someone to confide her secrets to. Also, any other Telmar consorts would be nice.

Really, I'm up for plotting in general. Feel free to post your ideas.

Hm...I don't think any of my characters can RP with yours yet, sadly!  Though if Adelliana joins Drinian's group, she may get to RP with my centaur Swiftshadow shortly. And when my Telmarine Adimon rejoins Miraz's camp, we could definitely have a thread! He's pretty perceptive, though (it's part of his job), so he may figure out or suspect Adelliana's real gender. Then again, even if he does, he may do nothing about it, unless she causes trouble, because more soldiers are always good.

Hey! Yeah, Drinian would definitely be up for meeting her! Him. . .

Me: Anyhow. . . In one thread, he's currently on the edges of the camp talking to Gavin Owen. They're just small talking, so feel free to jump on in! Drinian's about to be called into Miraz's tent so he can be sent on a mission over to the Narnian camp and it's possible that if Miraz already has a good perception of Dharr (reliable and more on HIS side than Drinian's), she'd--

Drinian: he'd . . .

Me: Right, he'd be sent along as well.

Or we can always do a Miraz-meets-Dharr thread if you'd rather! But I'd say that Drinian's definitely someone who can keep a secret. He's got several important ones right now, actually.

Okay. First of all, you two get cookies for being the first to reply!

Next item of business.
I'd love for Adelliana to meet Adimon eventually, though she would of course be wary around him if he suspected her secret. Then again, if he did little about it, then she would certainly be grateful and whatnot. Potential threadage? I think so.

As far as Miraz goes, I'm sure Adelliana's male counterpart Dharr would be extremely happy to serve in whatever way possible. Special missions, undercover ops, or fighting on the battlefront. She's up for it!

Now with Drinian... hmm... it might actually be quite funny if she developed a little crush on him, and the two had to embark on some mission together. It'd be awkward for Adelliana to say the least. But yes, I very well may throw her into that thread which you spoke of.

On another note, there is an open thread with Tarkheena Adelliana, in which she first arrives in Calormen. Snag it, if you wish.

Ohhh, I just have to say that I love this character. And I love that she has a sort of "She's the Man" deal going on here, but without the twin brother. Hah, sorry... But anyways, I love the secret identity thing. :]

Okay, so the first two characters (of mine) that I would think of are Shayla and Thal Deverell. They're half brother and sister, and from Calormen... kind of. Their dad is half Calormene/half Telmarine (from the reeal Telmar, not Narnia) and Thal's mom was Telmarine from Narnia... Shayla's mom was full-blooded Calormene though. But no one in Narnia knows that Shayla's mom is not Thal's mom because both mothers are dead now and Shayla ctually grew up in Narnia under the care of her step-brothers' grandparents... and everyone thought her mom was her step-brothers' mom. Yes, its all quite confusing. Thanks for bearing with me!

Soo, Thal is on this recruiting squad thing with Drinian. So if she'd -- or he, whatever floats your boat!-- come along that could be quite interesting! Thal spent most of his teenage years in Tashbaan, so they'd have some things in common. Even if he kind of detested it. It's okay though, he kind of detests everything. Hah.

Oooor, this one's kind of out-of-the-blue and really just me going into crazy thinking mode (which I do way too often, unfortunately for everyone else...) Shayla and Dharr could meet somehow (perhaps before s/he joins/ed the army?), and Shayla could discover that he is actually Adelliana... Shayla could then inform big brother Thal and force him to watch out for her in the army. Thal would probably be very awkward about it all. hahaha. I love making Thal awkward. ;] Oh, and since Shayla has a crush on Drinian as well it could be all the funnier. ;]

Or yeah. Anything else you have I'm always up for almost anything! haha. Feel free to completely discard any of my ideas though. I just ramble too much. x]

Also I have Weylin who could RP with Dharr, if he ever happens to be in the area of Miraz's castle/city. :]

Well, goodness! Here's Drin, never having had a girl like him (that he's known of) and now TWO!

It's enough to make him blush.

I actually also thought of the "She's the Man" scenario! Or, well, rather Twelfth Night and Viola. But you know. . . (I can't escape the nerdiness sometimes. It overpowers my coolness factors every time!

It also actually occurred to me that it would be even funnier if, well, for some reason Drin's attracted to Dharr. Now that would creep him out! (But who knows. The potential for crush-ness largely depends on how/if they interact.) Can't wait!

Oh yay! I'm so glad I have fellow Shakespearians that understand my Twelfth Night allusions! (I was Viola in one production and Olivia in another. Yay! Anywho...)

Wow. Confused, but I think I sort of get what you're hinting at. Maybe if I read the whole family line once more I'll get it all sorted out! :] Adelliana has yet to join the army-ish... IDk really. (pardon my scatter-brainedness.) but yeah. Hmmm.... That would be fine if Shayla knew somehow. Perhaps she could remain Adelliana's sole female confidant or something? And then over time, she could grow... concerned? And tell her brother? it's a good idea. We should think this one out.

And Drinian! Yay! It will be fun to see how this works out.

Again, open thread for snaggage, and what's the thread w/ drinian/ miraz? I might just have "Dharr" tag along!

Aww.. Twelfth Night! That was the first Shakespeare play I ever saw performed live, so it has a special place in my heart.  Haha, you all should totally re-enact the story! Although with no twin brother, things would turn out rather sad for the Olivia character...

Seriously, though, what you all have planned sounds fun! Hooray for plotting!

(Speaking of people falling in love, I should totally have Adimon develop a crush on someone.  He's really never had a serious crush before, and actually, he thinks all the love stuff is rather foolish and time-wasting.  He's perfectly content with letting Miraz find him some advantageous match.  So he'd have no clue what was happening to him if he actually fell in love!)

As for the Drinian thread, I'd love to start a new one, but Drinian's already in two places at once (soon to be a third if he jumps in for the tea party . . .) So I think maybe if you jumped into a thread that he's already in, I wouldn't have to play Drinian in four different scenarios. I am good at multi-tasking, but not THAT good.

Miraz, however, is only in one other thread, so I could create a new one if you don't want to jump in with Drinian.

Drinian(s) is/(are)
1: Outside the palace by a pasture riding his horse after receiving some distressing news. This is the day before he heads off to the war.

2: At the war speaking to Gavin on the very outskirts of the camp (and soon Miraz so that he can go over to the Narnian camp)

3: Soon to be at the teaparty (probably after the pasture scene?) To Helena and Weylin: should I just have him go directly there, or did you want him to come back in to talk to you guys after the pasture? He's distracted enough he might just  . . . take off abruptly or something. (Otherwise he'd remember his manners.)

4: Also soon to be at the Narnian camp. . . but I think a lot needs to happen there before I do that. . . Thal needs to respond to Miraz's summons and I need to hear back from Gavin. But as I said, guys, there is no rush!

Anyhow, that's where Drinian is.

Wow, sorry. That was terribly confusing. Let me retry here...

Thal's mother was from here, Miraz's castle. She used to be a lady in the court. She married a guy who was half Calormene and half Telmarine (but Telmarine from Telmar, not Narnia). They lived all over the place, but when Thal was 12 his mother died. Since Thal's father had grown up in Calormen mostly, they moved back there after her death. Soon after, Thal's dad married a Calormene woman... a few years later, this step-mother became pregnant with Shayla, Thal's step-sister. Thal was about 16 when Shayla was born. When Shayla was 2, her mother died while having a horrible miscarriage... their father abandoned them, so Thal and his brothers took their little step-sister Shayla and decided to return to their mother's homeland of Narnia (Miraz's Telmarine Narnia, that is). Their grandparents were still there, and they took the children in. The story they told everyone was that Shayla was their full-blooded sister, but that their parents had died. So, the boys' grandparents raised Shayla basically, even though they weren't her grandparents at all. Only Shayla and her brothers know this secret... But someone else might find out, eventually. ;] Thal kind of just wandered the world for awhile, but he came back after his grandparents died, about 2 years ago. Now he's in Miraz's army, and Shayla lives in the castle... she's still considered a Lady because of her "mother" and "grandparents"... who she's actually not related to at all.

Wow, okay... that was long! LOL. Ummm... if you managed to read all that and/or understand it, I applaud you! Haha.

So yeah, only if you want Shayla could discover this secret.. and Adelliana could discover Shayla's as well, if you want... and then Shayla could tell Thal, so that he can help her/watch out for her. Whatever you want... if you don't want to, just say! It's totally fine! :]
