[Dzuna]

Alrighty, so I'm going to try and get Dzuna some plotness going; for the moment, her flock is stuck in the Owl Wood in the northwest of Telmar, but they're going to flee soon to join the Narnians.

A little about Dzuna and the flock; they're harpies, and they've lost their ability to speak since the Telmarines invaded 1300 years ago. Dzuna is the leader of her flock of 12; they stand anywhere from about 5'9" to 7'0" tall, and live 150-250 years. They're very territorial, and females have the ability to use a screech that can cause deafness; Dzuna in particular is fiercely protective of her flock, but is very curious about the world as her flock has never left the woods.

Are the harpy species and gryphon species generally on friendly or unfriendly terms, would you say? 'Cause if they were natural enemies, and they spotted Damien coming, that could cause a whole lot of trouble. It could even lead to them finding out how to join the Narnians, if Damien informed them.

Just a possible suggestion. Perhaps the harpies see and attack my gryphon while he's on a scouting mission and then capture him, but they become friends eventually and it might lead to the harpies joining the Narnians.

Anyway, I don't know if that would work for you, but it could be fun.

Uhmm.... just gonna answer your question anyway, even though it's been forever.... (hangs head in shaaaame)

The harpies have no knowledge of the outside and would probably have never seen a gryphon before; the only reason they would attack is if Damien was threatening any of their flock, or if he was intruding on their territory (ie, the Owl Wood)

I was planning to have the harpies join the Narnians by being discovered by a Telmarine and having to flee, but if anyone has any other ideas, I'm all ears.
