Rules Password: [Password Accepted ~Misha]Character Basics
Name: Alexandra Alisabeth "That is it, nothing more. I don't have a last name."
Alias(es)/Nickname(s): Alex "Call me Alexandra and I might just have to kill you."
Gender: Female "Sadly.. I really don't like girls"
Age: Fourteen "Again, sadly. I hate being so young."
Race: Daughter of a star and human "My father was a star and my mother a human."
Status/Title: Warrior; Guard "Do not underestimate me."
Affiliation: Narnia "Where else would I go? To the Telmarines? They would probably kill me."
Character AppearanceHair: Dark brown "Like my mother."
Eyes: Blue- green "Like my father."
Overall: Alex is tall for being fourteen, standing at five foot seven. Her dark brown hair falls to her shoulders in curls, but she usually puts it up with a small string that she keeps in her pocket. Her eyes are a bright blue-green, that shine when she is ready for some mischief. She has some muscles, but her waist is small because she chooses to be outside and fighting rather than inside and sitting around. She refuses to wear dresses, and she prefers to wear breeches and tunics because they are easier to fight in. She doesn't really have any distinctive markings, you can tell who she is, though, just by the expression she wears on her face.
Portrayal: Behati Prinsloo
Character PersonalityLikes:- Sword Fighting "This is more of a hobby, but it is also my life."
- Archery "If I am far away, I would like to defend myself. I took up archery and I actually like it. To tell you the truth, I thought I was going to hate it."
- Reading "When I'm not allowed to practice my fighting, I choose to pass my time by reading."
- Cold weather "I would rather be cold then hot."
- Rain "I love the noise it makes when it hits the ground. I love the way I can just go and stand in the pouring rain and it just feels like I am the only one in the world. It's nice to feel that way for a little bit."
- Narnians "They are my favorite. I love the talking animals, they are so sweet and kind. They dwarfs are amazing blacksmiths and the centaurs are amazing fighters."
- Animals "They are pretty cool. I love listening to their stories."
- Listening "I'd rather listen then talk. I just don't like talking, but I love to listen to stories, or other's points of view. Those make make me laugh."
- War "I love fighting, and I guess I always have. It's odd to like war, but there is always so much going on and I love the feeling of not knowing what is going to happen."
Dislikes:- Her family "They are all jerks."
- Dresses "They are very hard to fight in and it slows me down. Plus, I feel odd in a dress, like I don't belong."
- Anything feminine "I've never liked anything that has to do with women, except once, and that was when I liked a close friend of mine."
- Females "I personally think they are annoying. They wine and cry and they just
have to have a man around to help them. It's called being independent, they should really try it sometime."
- Ignorant humans "I don't like people who don't use common sense. It really gets on my nerves and I usually just leave if they annoy me enough."
- Talking "I don't know why I don't like to talk, I just don't. I may be to lazy, or maybe I just don't feel like people need to know my business, so I don't tell them. I only talk when needed or when I want to get my point across."
- People who think they are better then her "This really gets on my nerves. I hate it when people think they are better then me. Sure, I may be getting a little hypocritical here because I know I am better then some people I know, but still. It just really bothers me."
- Wine "The worst tasting drink in the world. It makes me sick just thinking about it."
- Telmarines "I'm a Narnian, of course I'm going to think that."
Strengths:- Witty "Not only can I fight well physically, but I can also have intellectual debates with somebody. Plus, when fighting you have to be witty, just in case something happens. You have to think quick or you might lose a limb.
- Physically strong "I just am. Probably from so much sword fighting."
- Hard shell "It takes some time to get into my heart. I've been hurt, and I don't like the feeling, so I have walls that are hard to demolish."
- Secret weapons "I have a hidden dagger on my right leg and in my quiver. I have a small, arrow shaped stick attached to my left leg for long range just in case my quiver is gone and I already used my dagger. You never know when you might need them."
- Fast runner "I have long legs."
Weaknesses:- Her past "I'm not even going to talk about that."
- Not having
her sword "I have to have my sword because it is made for me. The weight is perfect and so is the length. It took them a long time to make the measurements and make it. It came out great in the end."
- Dresses "Dresses are hard to fight in, so I never wear them."
- Angry easily "Yes, I do get angry easily, so don't mess with me. I make stupid mistakes when I am angry."
- Sometimes doesn't think things through "Again, I make stupid mistakes when I am angry. Either that, or I am bored and will do anything for fun."
General Personality: Alexandra is one of those people that almost always has a bored expression on her face. She gets bored with almost everything she does, except fighting, which she loves. She listens to almost everything she can, but she never puts in her input, unless she thinks it is needed. Alex doesn't care if she is just a guard, she speaks her mind and could care less what the others think about her. She is a fighter and if she doesn't think something is right, she will fight against it as much as she can. She can have witty debates, but she can also have a hard fight, sword to sword. She has been training most of her life with the Narnians in hiding.
Alex can have a soft side to her, but it rarely comes out. She would be willing to get it out, but since nobody really has the patience with her, they usually just leave her alone after awhile. She doesn't care, she has the Narnians, who like her. Before Caspian came, they would go to the general for help, and if he wasn't around, Alex always was. She has a kind heart for her country and will do anything to defend it. Sure, saying that may be a little risky, and Alex has gotten herself almost killed many times, but that doesn't bother her, if it is for Narnia, she'll do it.
Alex really hates females for the reason that she grew up with her older twin sister, who was very feminine, which tended to annoy Alex. It is for that reason that she hates females, and the fact that they just annoy her. They are whiny, bratty, and think they are the most amazing people in Narnia, at least, those are Alex's thoughts on them. Alex is one of the boys, with her choosing to wear breeches and choosing sword fighting before she learned her archery. She lets boys under her shell more then she lets girls, but she never actually lets them into her heart. She isn't the one to fall for anybody-it just never comes into her thoughts.
Character HistoryParents: Azkadalia (Mother- Deceased) ; Restellian (Father - Somewhere in the sky) ; James ( Step- Father - Somewhere in Archenland)
Siblings: Azkadalia II (Twin Sister -With James in Archenland)
General History: It was a beautiful clear night, one were you could see almost every star in the sky. A young woman, with eyes as dark as the night sky, and curls to match. This woman, only nineteen, was out, just walking around in Archenland, thinking about the days that were going by. She was to be married to a man named James, who was her best friend, and she did not feel anything towards him. Putting her back to the cold grass, the young woman looked up at the sky, watching the stars and picking out the brightest. There was one, though, that seemed to get brighter and brighter by the second, and soon, there was a man laying beside the one woman. She was startled, having never heard that stars were real, but after awhile of talking, she understood everything. He said that he had been watching her, and he thought she was the most beautiful woman in all of Archenland. She had to admit that he was very handsome, and they fell in love.
A few months later, Alexandra was born as the second daughter to star, Restellian and human, Azkadalia. Azkadalia was young, and she wasn't even married, she was ashamed to have gotten pregnant. Restellian found this out and he flew off into the sky without any note to the family. Azkadalia was arranged to marry James, her best friend, and so they did. They were very happy until the twins started to grow up. Azkadalia II started to be whiny and spoiled, while Alexandra would sit quietly and read, or run around outside with her friends, who just happened to be all boys. The two would fight all the time and Alex would eventually leave the house from sunrise, to sunset. Sure, she was young, but her friend's parents didn't mind her being around.
Most days went like this for a few years, then something happened that broke the family's normal schedule. Restellian decided he wanted his family back, and when Azkadalia refused, he killed her out of rage. When he noticed what he did, he ran, and the girls were raised by James. Since Azkadalia was the only female and family member that Alex was close to, she ran away. First she went to her friends' homes, but their parents said that she was young and that she should go back home. Alex refused to go home, though, and eventually decided to go to Narnia. She was only eleven, but she had heard stories by two of her friends' grandfather, who's ancestors were Narnian, about how the King Edmund of Narnia was only eleven, and maybe even younger when he helped save Narnia. After a tired day of walking, she stopped at a home in the country and asked if she could stay. They accepted, and while they were eating, they asked why a young girl was traveling by herself. Alex thought that they were nice enough, so she told the old general and his wife about her story. He knew that she must be kept and turned in to the Telmarines, because he did not want a girl like her to start telling stories to the rest of the Telmarines about these odd Narnians, with talking animals, and centaurs, whatever those were. While she was sleeping, they locked her in the room, and only opened to let her out when she had to use the bathroom, or to eat. She stayed in their home for days, waiting for the Telmarine soldiers to take her back to the castle and put her on trial. Alex was not happy about this plan and she quickly devised a plan to escape. One night, when the moon was shining bright enough for her to see, she escaped and ran to the nearest forest. There she found the Narnians, who helped her escape further into the forest to where she wouldn't be caught. They were going to let her go alone, but after some begging on Alex's part, they let her come with them back to their hide out.
Soon, she started to train with the Narnians, but it was hard to sword fight in a dress- her mother made her wear them- so they made breeches and tunics for her, which helped a lot. She excelled in sword fighting and soon trained with the dwarfs for her archery. She learned the ways of combat fast, and she also loved learning about old Narnia. She believed in Aslan, though many did not, and she still hoped everyday that he would come and fix everything. After three years, Alex still had her tomboy attitude and her hard shell. She rarely talked unless around those very close to her, and she helped whenever it was needed to defend Narnia. Sometimes she acted as a spy, but that almost got her killed many times, so they stopped making her do that. Even though she was almost killed, Alex didn't care, she just wanted the old Narnia back, just to see what it was like not to be in hiding.
Other/Notes: She kind of reminds me of Joan of Arc. xD

"I don't like this."
Alex smiled over at her brother. "Oh come on John, high school is going to be fun," she said, looking up at the school, a scared look now on her face.
"Are you sure?" her fraternal twin asked.
"I hope so," she mumbled, starting up the steps to Canaveral High. It was intimidating, walking down the hallway and seeing all these older people looking down at them, or sometimes looking up, since the two were tall for their age. Alex kept her head up though, making it seem that she wasn't a Freshmen, or that she wasn't your average Freshman. Stopping at her locker, she pulled her number out of her purse and started to turn the dial.
"I'm going to go Al. Have to find my locker," John said, looking at the locker with disgust. "I can't believe I have to touch that thing." Alex laughed, looking back at John.
"Bye," she said, turning back to her locker. "Forty four, twelve, sixteen," she mumbled, turning to each number, then watched as the locker swung open. She smiled, proud that she did that on the first time. She stuffed her binders in the now clean locker-it would get messy later- and closed the door. Turning, she picked up her trombone case and started for the band room. No, she didn't have band for homeroom, but there was NO way she was going to carry that huge case around all day.
When Alex arrived, she smiled to the directors, slipping in and nodding politely to people passing her. She stopped, looking at all the people in the room. Man, there were so many of them, and she barely knew any because she's been in the band for a week or two- band camp. Opening her band locker, she slipped her trombone in and closed the wooden door, turning and facing her fellow students.
There were groups scattered all over the large room as many sat in chairs, while others stood in a circle.
"ALEX!" a girl screamed from the outside entrance.
Alex looked over, seeing her best friend come running over. "Hey Brittany," she said, hugging the Sophomore.
"I'm so glad you're in the high school now. We are going to have SO much fun in band together!"
Alex smiled, then laughed a little, listening her friend go on and on about how she was SO excited that Alex was finally here with her, while Alex looked around, studying the other people. A smirked tugged at her lips when a boy walked into the band room.
"Hey Brit?" Alex asked, interrupting her friend's, now turned, rant.
"What?" she asked, obviously mad that Alex interrupted her. "I was just getting to the good part. Do you not listen to me? What kind of friend are you?"
"No, I wasn't listening, I was looking at all the people. Do me a favor and tell me. Who is that?"
Brittany turned, following Alex's gaze. "You mean Darcy? You don't have a chance. A- He's a junior, and B- he reads all the time."
Alex rolled her eyes. "Not the blond, the brunette, the one talking to Darcy."
Brittany laughed. "William? Oh, I could see him with you. Oh! And you can have one of those cute names. You know like, Bradjalena. Yours could be.. Um.."
"Don't hurt yourself," Alex said, patting her friend on the shoulder and making her way across the band room.
"Hello. I'm Alex," she said when she got to the two boys. The brunette looked up from looking at Darcy and smiled.
"William."
