I am thinking about starting up a role play forum sometime in the near future. It will be about either the American Revolution or the French Revolution. Yes, they are very different from one another, but they're both revolutions and I personally think they're both pretty interesting. It will be historically accurate for the most part. There will be 'historical canons' such as George Washington and King Louis XVI, depending on which topic I go with.
As far as help goes, I will need a graphics admin more than anything as I have no photoshop programs or anything similar. All I have is Paint, which is pretty much useless in this situation. I will also take on another admin and some mods at some point. I haven't created the site yet because I don't know what kind of help I will receive. If you would like to help out, you can either post here or send me a message. Thanks!

That definitely sounds interesting! I love history, especially the American Revolution.
I'm okay with graphics, I guess. I don't know what I'd be able to do, but keep me posted if there's anything you need. Best of luck!

I can attempt to help you somewhat, but with attempts to revitalize IN, and with how busy ASF is, with the sinking coming up and all, I probably won't be able to do much. Still, I'm not too shabby with graphics so give me a holler!

I'm a little biased as I'm actually studying rhetoric of the French Revolution in Gothic lit, but I also live in DC and am rekindling a love for American history. But man! Danton and Marat and the Girondins!  LOVE. But Nathan Hale is amazing. If I were ever to RP someone historical, it would be Nathan Hale. Drinian is a bit like how I imagine him, in ways. Oh fun! What a great premise! Wish I knew something about graphics, lol. But I can be a participant! |

I totally vote American Revolution, but then, I'm currently in NY for a history program, and while the focus is on Abe Lincoln, I've got American history on the brain.
I can't help with the site, though, sorry! This whole busy summer thing just won't let me. But maybe I'll join whatever you do make once the summer is over!
