Alias(es)/Nickname(s): Reep. But not to his face, mind you.
Gender: Male
Age: adult
Race: Mouse
Status/Title: He's not a knight yet. But it's only his goal in life.
Affiliation: For Narnia, and for Aslan!
Character AppearanceHair: Grey-ish brown
Eyes: Black, rather beady
Overall: Even with a Mouse's physique, Reepicheep still manages to carry himself with a noble air. He always has good posture, standing erect at one foot tall, and using his beloved tail to maintain his balance. One can often tell what he is thinking by observing his tail, his whiskers, and his ears. When his ears are perked, his whiskers taut, and his tail is poker straight, he is either extremely happy, or you had best get out of his way. The saddest sight you may ever see is a Mouse with a drooping tail, whiskers, and ears.
Reepicheep has fur his whole body over that is gray/brown in color, and he takes good care of it, as he does every part of himself. It shines brilliantly and is soft to the touch, though of course no one has ever found this out and lived to tell about it. He is somewhat slender for a mouse, because of all the exercise he does training. And, you can tell he is a Mouse (not a mouse) when you look at his face. His eyes are large and set far apart, his nose is a bit small, and his mouth is oversized - all the better for talking. He also distinguishes himself from other Mice by wearing a large red feather in a band around his little head. But other than that, his only clothing is his rapier and belt.

General Personality:Reepicheep has the heart of a Giant in the size of a Mouse. He adheres to the code of chivalry as if he would die otherwise, and defends his honor viciously. If someone insults him, even in jest, he will take it to heart and most likely avenge himself with his rapier. He is not afraid to face anything, including someone six times his size in combat, save the loss of his honor – or his tail. His entire life, he has set his sights on being a knight of Aslan and defender of Aslan, and will do whatever it takes to do so. Quite the determined Mouse, he is self-disciplined and has a group of devoted followers that will listen to what he says, just as he likes.
Even though he is too proud for his own good, Reepicheep is also a very loyal Mouse. He has held onto his belief in Aslan, even in the face of death, and rushed to the aid of his kings and queens when possible and will do so again in a heartbeat. While he thinks often of his honor, it is more important to him to make sure that what he does, he does for those he loves. He is convinced that whatever he does is the best thing to do, and will happily use his rapier to back himself up on this. For the cause of Narnia, Aslan, and Caspian, he will rush headlong into a battle, even if they tell him not to for his own sake. He is convinced that it is better to die nobly than to live in fear. Those who do not agree with him will be bothered mercilessly.
As Reepicheep will love and protect something with all of his being, he is also capable of an intense amount of hate. If he thinks something is dishonorable, he will ridicule it soundly, and does not hesitate to use his tongue, which is almost as sharp as rapier, when it comes to discipline. His intelligence gives him an extensive vocabulary and a quick wit, and this can be employed in good or bad ways. Refusing to put up with any nonsense – or, at least, what he considers nonsense – makes him extremely stubborn and something of a danger to himself if he will not listen to good reason (he won’t). But these things have also made him a better defender of Narnia by the same token. He holds a sound hatred for those against Old Narnia and Aslan. His morals are deeply ingrained within him, and he holds fast to them. If nothing else can be said about Reepicheep, it is that he does not give up on what he believes, even when everyone else does. Because Reepicheep is truly not like anyone else.

General History: (at least 3 paragraphs)
Reepicheep was raised in a typical Mouse household with many siblings. He was always a very busy creature, but his father taught him how to fight and his mother taught him how to be gentle. He was instructed in the legends of Aslan, and lived for the day when he would be able to fight for his cause. He learned swordplay - and his one of the handiest Animals with a rapier you might ever see - as well as military strategics, with a bit of geography, history, and politics thrown in. He is a very intelligent Mouse because of this. He lived with his parents and siblings until he was old enough to seek his fortune, and, according to Mouse custom, never saw any of his family members again. He is not too much bothered by this, because he believes one must seek one's own destiny.
As only a small Mouse (well, he is still a small Mouse), he was told by a Dryad that he would find his heart’s desire in the Utter East. It has, since then, been his dream to sail across the Ocean to reach Aslan’s country. So far, however, he has not successfully met that goal, because he first must defend Narnia. He was determined to put his rapier to good use on the side of the Old Narnians, should it be needed. After Narnia was restored, only then could he complete the voyage to the east. So he decided to find others who shared his desire to take back what was theirs from the Telmarines. He set off alone to the deepest part of the Shuddering Wood to do so.
When he lived out on his own, he met many other old Narnians, including Pattertwig the Squirrel, Glenstorm the Centaur, and Trumpkin the Dwarf. Because of his experience with arms, as well as his quick wit and sense of honor, he quickly became a large part in the force that was building to rebel against the Telmarines. Often, he served as a speaker during one of the gatherings at the Dancing Lawn, simply because of his passion and pride, but it was difficult because no one could see him. He taught many of the Old Narnians how to use their swords, since so many of them were so pathetically useless in that way. Even when things were hard, he kept his faith in Aslan and immediately pledged his loyalty to Caspian X when the time arose for him to do so. Even though things were rough in the beginning (Reepicheep almost dispatched him), he accepted Caspian more quickly than most of the other Old Narnians – as soon as he knew
who he was (the possessor of the horn), not just
what he was (a Telmarine).

Reepicheep did not know much, but he did know a thing or two about mercy. He had been taught it quite well, actually, by a very good friend. And he did wish that he could put Caspian out of his misery, but he didn't know how. It would be merciful to leave him alone to think on the subject, but it just might be better to allow him to talk things out. Reepicheep also had trouble finding people, especially since most of them couldn't see him. One of the things that he adored and respected about Caspian was that he really paid attention to all of his subjects, even the smallest ones.
He had seen Caspian try to retract his arm when he turned around. For a moment, he stared in stunned silence at the arm, now placed innocently at the young man's side. He was simply bursting with annoyance.
"Did you - did you just try to... catch me?" he cried out, visibly indignant. "My liege, if I am too much of a fool to keep my own balance, I daresay my life would not be worth saving! It has long been a dream of mine to sail to the utter East, and there would be no such hand to catch me should I fall from a mast!" He was nearly trembling in anger - not at Caspian, but at himself.
Calming himself, he glanced at Caspian's waiting hand, thinking on what had been said. Though he had gotten up onto the turret himself before, and could easily do so again, he decided to humor his king, if only to make him feel better. He was clearly in a foul mood (he had called the queen a "dratted woman"!), and would need Reepicheep's help to get out of it. He held his head up high as he stepped into the proffered hand, trying not to notice what he was doing, for it was rather humiliating.
"Books?" Reepicheep spat. "Pah! I laugh at books! They are nothing but silly fables. The real adventure is out here!" He motioned to the sea - which he could see once more, he was glad to say - roiling below with a grand, sweeping gesture. "We men, my liege, are the ones who are having the best time. Books - they are just pretend."
He would soundly ridicule anything, even his own whiskers, if it meant cheering up Caspian and distracting him temporarily from the sadness he felt over Queen Susan. While Reepicheep was a firm believer in the kings and queens of old, he had first pledged his loyalty to Caspian and felt it unfair that Susan was treating him in such a way. Of course, he would not voice this, for to insult a lady was a grave sin and clear violation of the laws of knightly behavior which Reepicheep upheld so astutely.
"I wager she would much rather be out here with you, my liege," he added more quietly.
