Overall: Melody is quite a small young lady with very long dark hair which cascades in pretty waves down her back. Her skin is quite creamy and so compliments her dark eyes. She has several freckles around her nose. She wears long flowing dresses and pretty trinkets.

Likes: Long walks, swimming, horse riding, reading and Narnia
Dislikes: Caspian's uncle, oppression, the government, cruelty and boredom
Strengths: She's very secretive when she wants to be, she's caring, independent and cunning. She also knows how to fight.
Weaknesses: She's quite impatient sometimes, far too stubborn, she's a bit of a worrier, she's very reckless and on top of all that she's quite self conscious too.

General Personality:

She's more open to strange ideas than other people and she doesn't hold back on what she wants to say in most situations. However she is extremely respectful of people's values and respects personal space. She's often curious but she can't be described as nosy. In fact she's quite discreet and if there's something she wants to know about someone she will ask and if they don't want to tell her then that's fair enough in her books. She's very moralistic and hjas a fiesty attitude to evil people. She's extremely stubborn and it's very hard to get her to change her mind.

She's no pushover. She's very fiesty only when angry and she is pretty cool headed and in control of her own emotions when not emotionally involved with something. She can be quite determined when it comes to revenge or sticking up for someone. Loyalty and friendship are extremely important to her so any backstabbers will be shown the door straight away. She very rarely gives second chances nor would she ask for one if she messed up. She hates the thought of being a hypocrite.

Revenge is always on her agenda if she's been upset. She rarely cries and she rarelly doesn't fight back. She's very kind and helpful when people need her to be but if she has to be cruel to be kind then she won't hesitate either. She's cool, confident and rather sassy

She was the only child born to Edward and Lydia Laressa. Sadly her mother and father both died in a rather nasty accident not far from the capital city. Melody was about three at the time. She was taken to an orphanage where she grew up with a relatively happy life although it soon became obvious that she and the other children did not like the Prince's uncle's reign over the Kingdom. Melody took no notice and didn't bother listening to anything he said. She had heard whispers and rumours about the history of the land that the Telmarines had claimed. Not that any of it was able to be confirmed but just the stories alone were enough to excite her and arouse her curiosity. In fact as far as she was concerned it may not even be fact but she didn't care. She loved the land that the people had claimed no matter what. She had always loved natural scenery.

She had always been a bit of a wild child. She would often be caught trying to hide in trees and run away to Narnia. Shortly after her parents had died she had told the matron that her parents were awaysince she was too young to understand that her parents were dead. It had taken her a while but her desire to go to Narnia did not diminish. For some reason she felt a connection with the other land and wanted to go despite knowing nothing about it. She was a bit of a wanderer during those years and she met many people in the city including a certain blacksmith.

She grew into a lovely young lady who attracted the eye of several young men but even as a sixteen year old Melody only had eyes for Narnia. She was quite a proud and stubborn woman. This lost her many possible matches but she didn't care. She studied well enough for someone of her class but eventually on her sixteenth birthday on which she inherited her parents money and she bought plenty of supplies and some weaponry. She had persuaded a nearby blacksmith to show her how to use them although her knowledge was extremely limited. All the blacksmith had really taught her was how to defend herself should any drunken man try and force her into unspeakable acts. So all she knew was how to hold it and wield it and even then she could be easily defeated. Not to mention the fact that she has never used it. It is simply for security.

She then left Telmar's royal city and ran away where she managed to make herself a sort of den in the forest for her to live in. Although it wasn't so much of a den as an abandoned cave. She kept sneaking back to the royal city whenever she needed supplies but otherwise tried to avoid the place. She had been forced to say goodbye to the friends she had made in the royal city but had told them nothing of her plans not wishing to get them in trouble.

Her disappearance was noted but no one apart from her friends was too concerned. After all she may have gone travelling. She had had a very small part time job and may have decided to go travelling or maybe something had happened to her. Since she had no family she was simply one less to worry about. She hasn't been living in the cave more than four or five months.

Lily glanced up at the clock. It was almost the end of her shift already? That was another day that had gone quickly. It was rather frightening how time flew. She turned back to her ward and wandered around checking on the patients and smiling. She made sure that they were all happy and comfortable before taking a step back to really look at them. She really hoped that they wouldn't just leave St Mungos and be killed straight away. That wasn't why they were healed but it was what seemed to happen lately.

She walked out into the nurses' office and started to pour herself a cup of tea. She sipped it quietly and smiled down at her engagement ring happily. She couldn't believe she was getting married. The past few years had gone by quickly and she was going to be Mrs Potter in a matter of weeks. She shook her head and sipped more of her tea. The amount of people coming in had quietened down for now but Lily had a feeling they would pick up again soon.

Sure enough ten minutes later...

Lily put down her cup of tea at the sound of the alarm and rushed out to get a few witches into beds. She started to examine one with particularly ugly looking burns. She performed a few charms to try and make it as less painful as possible. She hurried to the ointment stock to see what sort of treatements would be appropriate for this case. She turned and brought two vials back. As she went through the usual procedure of getting as much information as she could from the patient, she enquired if the patient was allergic to any substances. Having received an answer she put one vial to the side and administered another.

"We'll monitor your progress for a while and if it does the job then you should be out in about a week or so. If not we'll try alternative treatments okay? It's nothing life threatening. You may feel some discomfort but if it gets very bad just call for someone okay. If you need me just ask for Lily Evans" she said reassuringly .
